|Flying directly to Patras: some companies like TUI and Airberlin provide direct flights to Patras (Araxos airport). The cost of the taxi from the airport to the city centre is of around 60 euros.
Flying to Athens: from Athens three options are available to reach Patras
- car renting at the airport.
- Public transportation-train. The train from the airport does not make it all the way to Patras, but to 2/3 of the way to the city of Kiato. Then the train company operates a bus from Kiato to Patras that connects with the train.

To take the bus to University you have to go to Ermou street, between Maizonos and Korinthou Street. Take bus number 6 with the sign "ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟ" (Panepistimio=University). Then when you get at the University Campus you can either get off at the 2nd or 3rd bus stops.
For the bus you need a ticket (1.70 €). You can buy bus tickets at most kiosks or at the office at the bottom part of Georgiou square. Usually the bus on school days goes every 10 minutes.
For the opposite route (from University to the city center), you can take bus number 6, direction "ΠΑΤΡΑ".
The taxi price from the city to the university is approximately 10 Euros.
